IEC 60092 Marine Cable
IEC 60092, the standard for marine cables, is a system of standards for marine electrical equipment and cables developed by the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC). It primarily applies to electrical systems in ships and offshore engineering projects, rather than being a standard for a single cable type. Its excellent safety and fire resistance, along with the flame-retardant and oil/acid-resistant outer sheath, make this cable standard widely popular.
It also covers power and instrumentation cables used in ships and mobile marine environments.
IEC 60092 Cable Classification
IEC 60092-353 Low Voltage Control Cable
The IEC 60092-353 European standard series of unarmored power cables provides a lightweight wiring solution for marine applications, avoiding the risk of mechanical damage. Suitable for shipboard and offshore non-radial field power cables, for fixed installations.

IEC 60092 - 354 MV Power Marine Cable
IEC60092-354 standard series cables are suitable for marine and offshore power transmission. They are commonly single-core and three-core, with extruded solid insulation. Both the conductors and cores have shielding layers. The rated voltage is one of the following: 3.6/6 (7.2) kV, 6/10 (12) kV, 8.7/15 (17.5) kV, 12/20 (24) kV, or 18/30 (36) kV, for fixed installation.
